Exhibition
CES in 15 years of projects
January 13 to 31, 2025
North|South Library Corridor (Display) | CES-Alta
Since its inception, CES has developed several research projects funded by national and international organisations, thus constituting one of the driving forces behind the institution's strength, contributing to its interdisciplinary scientific expansion, enabling the development of (new) concepts, and stimulating critical thinking.
Given the scientific relevance of CES projects, the North/South Library's collection has grown exponentially, with an exceptionally rich and diverse array of topics.
BN|S's collaboration with the project teams has been fundamental, not only in acquiring bibliography suggested by the projects, but also in pointing out other relevant works, answering queries about references, etc. As a result of this good collaboration between the library team and the people who researched the projects, BN|S has come to exhibit some of the work carried out by certain projects: in January 2024, CEATOUR; in February 2024, TRACE and REMEMBER; in October 2024, the ECOSOC working group.
With this bibliographic exhibition, the library team's main objective is not only to present the significant results of the projects over the last 15 years, but also to dignify the science developed by those who have been part of these CES projects.
