Celso Braga Rosa
Biography
Born in N´Dalatando, Angola. Obtained his Superior Degree in Anthropology at the University of Coimbra, in 1999, writing an essay over African arts and the international art market, published by the University of Porto. Always interested in African studies, he first conducted research over economies of art and agents of aesthetic transformation, and has developed several actions in Angola, always engaged with cultural analysis and cultural dissemination. Presently he is enrolled in the PhD Program "Post-Colonialisms and Global Citizenship" of the Centre for Social Studies of the University of Coimbra/Faculty of Economics of the University of Coimbra, with a project entitled "Objects in the Diaspora. African colonial ethnography collections at the Science Museum of the University of Coimbra".
